If you thought all you had to
be concerned about were ISIS, North Korean nukes, Iran possibly on a path to
nukes, Russia’s war in Ukraine possibly escalating, and world governments on
the verge of financial collapse, then think again. I have a Christian friend
who says that God has given him a vision of the coming Mark of the Beast!
Some years ago Walt Disney
Pictures released a movie entitled Beauty
and the Beast. But this blog post is not about a movie, but a mark that
will be implemented by a coming world ruler, who is called in the Bible the Antichrist, the man of lawlessness, and the Beast.
The Mark of the Beast will be
required to perform a financial transaction. In Revelation 13:16-17, John the
apostle tells us about this mark:
He
required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a
mark on the right hand or on the forehead, and no one could buy or sell
anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number
representing his name. (NLT)
Today many Christians who
believe that the church will be raptured before the Antichrist arrives and
before the Mark of the Beast is implemented.
Does the Bible actually say that? No! Does the Bible even imply that?
No!
Even though a popular
teaching today is that the church will be raptured before the Antichrist
arrives and before the Mark of the Beast is implemented, this teaching is not
found in the Bible or in the writings of the earliest church fathers—those
early Christian ministers who lived closest to the apostles of Christ.
You can discover how the
earliest church fathers interpreted Scriptural prophecy concerning the rapture
of the church, the Antichrist, and much more in my book available on Amazon
entitled Rediscovered Early Church
Premillennialism: Teachings of the Earliest Church Fathers on Prophecy.
Our plan is to produce a
YouTube video of my friend’s vision of the coming implementation of the Mark of
the Beast! You will not want to miss it! So check this blog periodically to
find out the release date.
Between now and then I’ll
leave you with this warning from Scripture about the coming Mark of the Beast:
If
anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or
on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed
in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire
and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the
Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no
rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever
receives the mark of his name. Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep
the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. (Revelation 14:9-12)
In other words, friends, when
the Mark of the Beast is implemented you absolutely MUST NOT take it. It would
be better for you to go to heaven hungry, then to take the Mark of the Beast to
buy groceries and end up in the lake of fire for eternity.
Also remember the admonition of Apostle John
who, in essence, encourages Christians to not take the mark but to persevere,
saying, “Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of
God and their faith in Jesus” (Revelation 14:12).
